|Edward I. O’Brien III is Chairman of Sophis Investments LLC. Mr. O’Brien has over 37 years financial industry experience in a variety of management roles. Mr. O’Brien began his career at Prudential Bache Securities where he spent 20 years in Fixed Income, eventually becoming Senior Vice President and Director of Government Agency underwriting and trading. Mr. O’Brien then spent 8 years at Keefe, Bruyette and Woods where he was Executive Vice President and member of the firm’s Management Committee. After KBW, Mr. O’Brien joined Guggenheim Securities, where he was Managing Director. Mr. O’Brien then joined M&R Capital Management, an SEC-registered investment adviser for four years. Mr. O’Brien is a member of the board of advisors of Alexander Capital L.P., a registered broker-dealer.
Mr. O’Brien was born in New York, NY, and is a graduate of Fordham University. He is involved in a variety of charitable and philanthropic endeavors. He is a former trustee of Fordham Preparatory School and previously served as Chairman of Fordham University’s President’s Council. Mr. O’Brien is currently Chairman of the leadership committee of the Archdiocese of New York’s Cardinal’s Appeal.

|Vijay S. Malik is a Principal of Sophis Investments LLC. Mr. Malik previously served as General Manager of Everest Group LLC, a family office firm in Omaha, NE. Mr. Malik began his career as an associate and assistant to the Chief Operating Officer of World Trade Center owner Silverstein Properties, after which he joined Holliday Fenoglio Fowler LP as an Analyst followed by Tishman Speyer Properties as Associate. During 2012, Mr. Malik joined Check Capital Management, an SEC-registered Investment Adviser, before leaving to manage investment portfolios for himself and his family. Mr. Malik is Director at Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, L.P., a real estate capital intermediary, in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Malik was born in Richmond, Virginia. He earned an undergraduate degree from Brown University. Mr. Malik spent one year at The University of Oxford, Pembroke College. He earned a law degree from Creighton University.

|Tassos D. Recachinas, CFA is Founder, President & Chief Investment Officer of Sophis Investments LLC. Mr. Recachinas previously served as an Investment Analyst at Pirate Capital LLC, an activist and event-driven hedge fund sponsor. Mr. Recachinas began his career as an Equity Research Associate at Raymond James & Associates, where he provided institutional equity research coverage on Defense Electronics & Mobile Data Technology securities. Mr. Recachinas served on the Board of Directors of The Allied Defense Group, Inc., a multinational defense company, as well as a member of its Strategic Review and Compensation Committees. Mr. Recachinas has helped advise a variety of companies spanning a broad array of industries to maximize shareholder value.
Mr. Recachinas was born in Washington D.C. and raised in Fairfield, CT. He earned a B.S. summa cum laude, Mechanical Engineering concentration in Aerospace Engineering, from The George Washington University. He was a member of the university’s Honors Program, and spent one year at The University of Oxford, Pembroke College. Mr. Recachinas is a CFA® charterholder.
